Frequently Asked Questions

Showit offers three subscription plans:
  • Showit – Website only (no blog)
  • Showit + Basic Blog – Includes a simple WordPress blog (most popular)
  • Showit + Advanced Blog – Best for migrating an existing blog or using custom WordPress plugins
Each plan can be billed monthly or annually and is required to run your site. In addition to your Showit subscription, you’ll also need to purchase the template itself. Both of those costs are separate from my Template Customization service—so when we work together, you’re only paying me to tailor the design to your business and brand.
Once your prep work is submitted and your spot on my design calendar is secured, we’ll hit the ground running. I’ll spend the first day customizing your template and send the completed design to you by end of day. You’ll review it overnight and send your revision notes back by 8 a.m. the next morning. I’ll make final tweaks, and your site will be ready to launch shortly after. Simple, streamlined, and stress-free.
Absolutely! I don’t currently sell templates myself, so you’ll need to purchase one separately. Some of my go-to favorites are Tonic Site Shop and Northfolk—both have beautiful designs that are easy to work with and super strategic. I do require approval of the template source prior to booking (just to make sure it’s a quality one!).
I’ll add your brand colors, fonts, logo, photos, videos, and copy to your Showit template—so it reflects your style, voice, and goals. This package includes up to 5 customized pages, completely tailored to your business. It’s your vision, brought to life in a stunning, strategic way.
We’ll start with your five most important pages—the ones that do the heavy lifting. (Think: Home, About, Services, Contact, and maybe one more.) From there, I’ll give you a step-by-step video walkthrough so you can make updates or add more pages on your own, totally stress-free. Need more help? We can always expand your package to include additional pages.
Template Customization is for you if you love the structure of a template but want it to feel fully yours. It’s quicker and more cost-effective than a full custom project. If you’re craving a completely one-of-a-kind brand and website built from scratch, my Custom Design experience is the way to go.
Yes! For Template Customization, a 50% deposit is required to reserve your spot on my design calendar, and the remaining 50% is due upon project completion before launch. For other services, payment schedules may vary, but I’ll always make sure the plan works for you before we begin.
Yes! Your site will have a strong SEO foundation with optimized titles, meta descriptions, keywords, alt tags, and image practices. Ongoing SEO requires regular updates and strategy, which I can connect you with trusted specialists for if you’d like to go deeper.
Copywriting is not included. I’ll provide a website content planner with prompts to guide your writing. For the best results, many clients hire a professional copywriter from my trusted referral list, and I’m happy to connect you.
