The design phase of most custom website projects takes around 2–4 weeks once onboarding is complete and the content and materials needed to get started are ready. Larger websites may take longer, depending on the number of pages and overall project scope. The full timeline from booking to launch will depend on your project start date, how quickly content and feedback are provided, and any additional features or services involved.

I keep the process organized with clear deadlines, a project hub, and reminders, so you'll know what I need from you and what's coming next. If something comes up on your end, communication is key. Delays with content, feedback, or approvals can affect your launch date, so I'll work with you to figure out the best next steps if plans change.

As many as you need! I don't cap revisions at a set number. Instead, I set deadlines for feedback and revisions so we can keep your project moving while making sure you're happy with the result.

I'll work with you to refine the design until we're both confident it's ready. The one thing to keep in mind is that once you've reviewed and approved a page, we consider that part of the project finalized. Revisiting approved pages for major design changes later can affect the timeline and may require additional work. So take your time reviewing each stage, and speak up if something doesn't feel right before signing off.

No problem! Your website should have the pages your business actually needs, not just the minimum number included in a package. Whether you need more service pages, specialty pages, location pages, a portfolio, or other content, we can build a website that fits.

Additional custom-designed pages are $300 per page. However, if you need several similar pages, I offer reduced rates that make a larger website more affordable.

For example, a therapist offering anxiety counseling, OCD treatment, and couples counseling can have a dedicated page for each service without paying for three completely custom designs. I can establish a page layout and customize it for each service for $150 per page. This gives each service its own dedicated content and structure to support your SEO, while keeping the overall investment more manageable. Portfolio pages using an established layout are $100 per page.

I also offer pricing breaks for larger websites as the page count increases. The final price depends on the number and type of pages and any additional features or functionality. More pages can affect your project timeline, too, but I'll map everything out before we begin.

Yes! Foundational SEO is included in every custom website project. This covers page titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, heading structure, and thoughtful page organization and URLs. It's an important starting point for helping search engines understand your website.

I also help you work through your website copy and refine it as we go, so you're not left staring at a blank page trying to figure out what to say.

If you'd prefer a professional to handle the writing for you, I offer full-service website copywriting through my copywriting partner, starting at $1,800 for four pages. We can coordinate this during onboarding before website design begins.

More advanced SEO services, such as in-depth keyword research, long-form SEO content strategy, and ongoing optimization, are separate services. My goal is to give your website a solid foundation without pretending basic SEO setup replaces a comprehensive SEO strategy.

I design websites on Showit, a visual drag-and-drop platform that gives you plenty of flexibility over your website's design without requiring you to code. It's a great option for service-based businesses that want a custom website they can continue to manage themselves. Every website project includes a personalized walkthrough video showing you how to make updates to your specific website, along with access to my video tutorial library. I'll walk you through the things you're most likely to want to change, so you're not left trying to figure everything out on your own.

You'll need a Showit subscription, and the appropriate plan depends on your website's needs, particularly if you're using the blog. I'll help you understand which plan makes sense, and you can get a free month of Showit through my referral link.

Your website design fee covers the work outlined in your proposal. Depending on your project, there may be a few additional expenses to plan for:

• Showit subscription: A recurring subscription, with the plan depending on your website's needs.
• Domain registration: If you don't already own a domain.
• Additional pages or features: Anything outside your agreed-upon package, such as extra pages, blog migration, eCommerce, lead magnets, or additional integrations.
• Legal templates: I recommend having appropriate website policies in place. During onboarding, I'll share resources, including a discounted contract and policy bundle from Artful Contracts for $37.
• Font licenses: Some brand fonts require a separate web license, depending on the fonts you use.

I'll outline project-specific add-ons in your proposal and discuss relevant third-party costs before you commit to anything. I want you to know what you're paying for before we get started.
