When Mady first started Wanderlust In Ohio, her mission was clear: to showcase the incredible natural beauty of Ohio and inspire people to explore the outdoors closer to home. But her original website and brand didn’t fully capture that energy. The site felt plain and uninviting, with a layout that made it difficult for visitors—especially on mobile devices—to find the information they were looking for. It lacked the warmth and personality that make Mady’s content so engaging, leaving potential followers unsure where to go next.
I worked closely with Mady to create branding and a custom travel blogger website that truly reflect her passion for adventure and the unique voice she brings to the outdoor community. The goal was to create a space that’s not only visually inviting but also easy to navigate, with thoughtful design elements that make exploring new trails and parks a breeze for her audience.

From the start, it was clear that Wanderlust In Ohio isn’t just another travel blog—it’s a vibrant, authentic resource designed to inspire exploration and connection with nature.
Working closely with Mady, I helped shape the brand and design to highlight her unique voice and values. As her travel blogger website, it needed to be both visually engaging and user-friendly, especially for mobile users who make up a large part of her audience. We balanced rich, earthy colors with clear typography and intuitive navigation, making it simple for visitors to find new trails, parks, and outdoor adventures without any frustration.

When I first learned of Unica Formo, I had been looking into several different website platforms and was overwhelmed with “decision paralysis” around the multitude of options and online templates available.
