Rachel came to me with a strong foundation; a private practice built on compassion, honesty, and real human connection, but her website no longer reflected the depth or direction of her work. As her niche became clearer and her vision sharpened, she needed a psychotherapy website design that felt more aligned: calm, clear, and grounded in trust.
Rachel isn’t a cookie-cutter therapist. Her approach is warm, honest, and refreshingly human; bringing humor, empathy, and grounded insight into her work supporting overwhelmed women as they navigate anxiety, ADHD, relationship stress, and self-connection.
The challenge was to create a website that reflected that balance: meaningful but not heavy, approachable but still professional. It needed to speak directly to her ideal client while maintaining clarity, ease of navigation, and space for future growth like workshops and additional offerings.
The approach focused on creating a psychotherapy website that feels like a calm, grounded conversation; supportive, clear, and easy to move through.
The design uses a soft, uncluttered layout paired with a muted sage palette and approachable typography to create a sense of ease from the first interaction. White space plays a key role in reducing cognitive load, allowing the content and messaging to breathe.
Rather than overwhelming visitors with information, we streamlined Rachel’s services and positioned her offerings in a way that feels intuitive and emotionally supportive. The structure guides users gently through her practice, making it easy to understand how she helps and whether she’s the right fit.
Subtle textures and restrained movement add depth without distraction, reflecting the layered nature of therapeutic work; complex, but held with care and stability.
The final result is a custom Showit psychotherapy website that feels grounded, human, and trustworthy, helping potential clients feel safe enough to take the next step.
I am so happy with the results of working with Unica Formo. Jordin had a clear vision for how to update my website to better represent who I am as a therapist and brought the ideas I had to life. She was an exceptional listener in terms of including things I thought were important while creating an visually pleasing website. I have very limited technical skill and being able to outsource all of the fine details of the web design was a huge load off my shoulders. I can honestly say that now, when potential clients visit my website, they get an experience that is authentic to who I am as a therapist and the image that I want to portray.
I would highly recommend working with Unica Formo for many reasons. She was efficient, creative, patient and incredibly hands-on throughout the process. I look forward to continuing to work with her as my website needs change and recommend working with her if you have a vision for your website but struggle with the execution. She will be able to bring your ideas to life in a professional and aesthetically pleasing way.
