The Herbal Room is a naturopathic practice rooted in a modern, simplified approach to holistic care. The goal for this project was to create a website that felt clean and elevated, while still reflecting the natural, whole-body philosophy behind the work.

Rather than leaning into overly earthy or overly clinical design, the direction focused on balance—creating a digital presence that feels both professional and grounded.

the challenge

The Herbal Room was already offering something unique in the healthcare space; a thoughtful blend of naturopathic medicine and modern clinical care. But the original website didn’t reflect that depth. It felt pieced together and lacked the level of refinement, clarity, and professionalism that Antonio brings to his practice.

With a focus on thorough assessments, custom botanical tinctures, and high-quality supplements, the site needed to do more than function; it needed to communicate credibility while still feeling approachable. Naturopathic medicine can often be misunderstood or feel unfamiliar to new clients, so the experience had to strike a careful balance between education, trust, and ease.

From mood support to gut health to long-term wellness planning, The Herbal Room offers highly personalized care. The challenge was translating that into a clean, modern website that could clearly reflect the full scope of services without feeling overwhelming or overly clinical.

The goal wasn’t to add complexity, it was to create clarity. A more elevated, cohesive online presence that builds trust from the first impression and positions The Herbal Room confidently within both the naturopathic and broader healthcare space.

our approach

To bring The Herbal Room online, the focus was on translating Antonio’s approach to care into a visual direction that felt both elevated and grounded. The brand was refined to reflect a more modern take on naturopathic medicine; clean and minimal, while still rooted in natural elements.

The color palette was inspired by muted herbal tones and glass tinctures, paired with typography that feels structured but easy to read. The goal was to create a website that communicates professionalism without leaning overly clinical, allowing the experience to feel approachable for both new and returning patients.

Because the practice is centered around personalized care, the website needed to feel clear and easy to navigate. The layout was intentionally simplified, with a structure that helps visitors move through services, explore offerings, and understand the process without friction, especially on mobile.

A key part of the design was balancing the two sides of Antonio’s work: botanical therapies and more clinical, lab-based support. Visually, this came through in a mix of clean layouts and subtle texture, creating a site that feels both refined and natural.

The final result is a custom Showit website that feels aligned with the practice; modern, intentional, and designed to support clarity at every step of the user experience.

Jordin was amazing to work with, from start to finish! Before I committed to the project, Jordin spent time answering questions I had and looking at ideas for websites to make sure it would be a good fit. Even though I had yet to commit to working with her, the conversations never felt rushed and Jordin took time to listen. Once we began, Jordin moved quickly, not only working within the promised timeframe, but finishing the project early! Once finished, she offered a 2 week period after the completion date where I could ask questions, so once again, her support has never felt rushed. Lastly (and maybe most importantly), the quality of her work is great and the website is exactly what I was looking for! Super happy with the results and a definite improvement from what I had before. Highly recommend all around!
