the challenge

Emily’s practice was already clear, personal, and grounded in clinical depth—but her old website didn’t reflect any of that. It felt dated, generic, and more like a placeholder than a space that truly spoke to the women she wanted to reach. For someone who specializes in high-functioning anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and Purely Obsessional OCD, the experience needed to be different from the start. It needed to feel safe, modern, and thoughtful—more like a quiet conversation than a cold sales pitch.

She wanted her new website to reflect her own personality: stylish but approachable, warm but rooted in expertise. She works primarily with millennial and Gen Z women—clients who are emotionally aware, detail-oriented, and often burned out from overthinking. They didn’t need another clinical-feeling site. They needed to land on a page that felt like someone truly understood them.

Our goal wasn’t just to showcase her services—it was to create a brand and website that felt as nuanced and intentional as the care she offers. Something high-end and grounded. Something clear and calming. Something that immediately said, "You’re in the right place."

Before

After

our approach

This wasn’t just another website build—it was a full reintroduction of Emily’s brand and online presence. The visual direction blends softness with structure, balancing modern serif fonts and clean lines with muted, earthy tones that convey calm without feeling cold. Every layout choice, every color, every bit of white space was selected to help the site breathe—to feel uncluttered, grounded, and welcoming to visitors who may already feel overwhelmed when they arrive.

We started with refining her messaging to emphasize the specific challenges her clients face: intrusive thoughts, emotional burnout, and the constant pressure to perform. From there, the website was designed to be both validating and clear. No overexplaining. No fluff. Just a clear, confident tone that mirrors the way she works in session.

The result is a custom Showit website for therapists that feels human, elevated, and full of clarity. Built not just to explain what she does—but to embody how she does it. The final site positions her as a thoughtful expert who deeply gets it, and more importantly, as someone her ideal clients can actually see themselves opening up to.

Jordin was such a dream to work with. From the beginning, she was so patient, knowledgable, responsive, and creative. She understood my vision from the very beginning (I tend to be very particular), and brought my website to life - font choices, color palette, illustrations, images, and everything in between. She did not push me into anything I wasn't comfortable with, or including more services in my package. Knowing what I know now, her work is worth 10x what I paid. I will absolutely be using her again down the line to recreate my logo and focus on instagram templates/graphics. I am so happy I made the switch from Squarespace to Show It, which has SO many cool design elements. I feel like our paths crossed at such an incredible time, and I would recommend her to ANYONE!
