When Kristen set out to build Embodied Healing Counseling & Yoga, she had a clear intention: to offer a safe, integrative space where people could come home to themselves. Her approach blends talk therapy and yoga in a way that’s both rooted and restorative—guiding high-achieving, sensitive women through the complexities of anxiety, identity shifts, perfectionism, and transitions like motherhood. Her work is nuanced and deeply human. It centers authenticity, nervous system awareness, and the wisdom of the body.
But her online presence didn’t reflect any of that.
Without an existing website, Kristen’s work was mostly shared through word-of-mouth and social media. She was ready to grow—but didn’t have a digital space that truly captured the warmth, humor, and relatability that make her such a safe and grounded practitioner. What she needed was a therapy website design that could hold all the pieces: her unique blend of yoga and counseling, her values around authenticity and growth, and her ability to meet clients exactly where they are—without overwhelm, jargon, or clinical coldness.
She wanted a site that felt personal, modern, and inviting. One that helped potential clients see themselves in her words and feel supported before ever booking a session. The goal wasn’t just to explain her services—it was to create an experience that mirrors what it’s like to work with her: calm, connected, and deeply validating.
The challenge was to bring all of that together online—while ensuring the site felt spacious, strategic, and sustainable as her practice grows.

We began by digging into Kristen’s values and vision—centering her calming presence and holistic philosophy throughout the design process. From the very start, it was clear that this wasn’t going to be a traditional clinical site. She needed a therapy website design that reflected her integrative approach, communicated warmth without being overly precious, and spoke directly to high-achieving, introspective women seeking support in this season of life.
Visually, we leaned into earthy tones and soft contrast to mirror the sense of grounded ease Kristen cultivates in her work. Clean lines, open space, and modern typefaces bring clarity and professionalism, while subtle movement and texture invite users to explore without overwhelm. Her homepage serves as a welcoming overview—clearly guiding prospective clients through her approach to therapy, yoga, and embodied healing—while detailed service pages give her offerings room to breathe.
Throughout the process, we made intentional decisions about voice, structure, and flow to ensure every element felt authentic to Kristen. The result? A thoughtful and user-friendly site that connects, informs, and empowers—just like she does.
