When Christy launched Eat Beyond Labels, she set out to create more than just a private practice—she was building a new kind of nutrition space. One rooted in inclusion, body trust, and the rejection of diet culture. A place where neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, and socially conscious clients could explore their relationship with food without judgment, restriction, or shame.
But as she began shaping her vision, she needed a website that could carry it. The goal wasn’t just to explain her services—it was to create an inviting, therapeutic online experience that reflected her values from the very first click. Something calm, grounded, and accessible. Something that felt different from the clinical, one-size-fits-all health sites her ideal clients were used to seeing.
Christy’s work is collaborative and trauma-informed. She looks at the whole picture—nutrition in the context of stress, sleep, neurotype, chronic conditions, culture, and identity. What she needed was an inclusive nutritionist website that communicated that depth while still feeling clear, approachable, and empowering to the people she serves. This wasn’t just about launching a practice—it was about building a space that felt like home to the folks who often feel excluded from traditional health care.
For Christy’s custom Showit website, the priority was creating a space that felt safe, affirming, and easy to navigate—especially for the neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, and socially conscious clients she serves. From the very beginning, it was clear that Eat Beyond Labels wasn’t just a nutrition practice—it was a welcoming alternative to the clinical, rigid feel of traditional health websites.
We took a collaborative approach to design, helping Christy sort through big ideas and clarify how to express her values online. As a brand-new business, there were a lot of moving parts—messaging, visuals, accessibility, structure—and we worked together to shape a site that could hold space for all of it without feeling overwhelming.
Visually, the design uses earthy neutrals, calming color palettes, and clean, readable typography to create a grounded and accessible experience. Soft gradients and intuitive navigation make the site feel open and easy to explore, while thoughtful visual hierarchy keeps key information clear. Every choice—from layout to microcopy—was made with inclusivity and user experience in mind.
Rather than relying on a generic nutrition template, we built an inclusive nutritionist website from the ground up—one that reflects Christy’s trauma-informed, client-centered approach. The site supports her current offerings while leaving room to grow as her practice evolves, and most importantly, helps visitors feel seen, respected, and empowered from the moment they land on the page.
When I first learned of Unica Formo, I had been looking into several different website platforms and was overwhelmed with “decision paralysis” around the multitude of options and online templates available. Straight from our Discovery Call, Jordin provided incredibly helpful feedback and a clear roadmap forward. I originally had so many different ideas and couldn’t imagine a way to include everything that felt important, but Jordin just seemed to “get it” right from the start. She offered so many thoughtful suggestions and helped create a website that feels genuine and unique. Jordin was a pleasure to work with throughout every step of the design process, from the branding workbook to the final website. She was also incredibly patient with updating and adapting the site as I gained more clarity on the messaging I wanted the site to convey. The finished product came out beautifully and captured everything I hoped for, and more! Not only is Jordin an incredible artist with an eye for design, but also highly skilled with the technical aspects of coding and SEO. I cannot speak highly enough of Jordin - if you’re on the fence, I highly recommend taking the leap and working with her!
