The Challenge

This interior designer website design project focused on transforming Sponzo Interiors from a DIY-built website into a more refined, strategic, and modern online presence that better reflects the direction of the studio.

While the original site was functional, it did not provide a strong user experience or fully communicate the level of work being produced. The layout, copy, and overall structure lacked clarity, making it harder for visitors to understand the brand, explore services, or connect with the studio’s design approach.

A key goal of this interior design website redesign was to elevate both the visual presentation and the overall UX. This included improving website copy, introducing a clearer brand narrative, and creating a more decisive introduction to the business that feels confident and intentional from the first interaction.

The updated Showit website design also needed to better support the type of work Stephanie wants to attract moving forward—more modern, elevated interior projects—while still keeping the experience clean and minimal. This meant incorporating larger imagery, intentional white space, and subtle motion through video to bring the portfolio to life.

Additional priorities included a stronger services page, improved navigation, and a more cohesive structure that guides potential clients through the site with ease. The result is a more strategic interior designer website that balances simplicity with clarity, and positions Sponzo Interiors as a confident, design-forward studio with a clear point of view.

After

The Approach

To bring this interior designer website design to life, we moved Sponzo Interiors from Squarespace to Showit, giving the brand far more flexibility in layout, storytelling, and overall design expression. This shift allowed us to move beyond the limitations of a more structured template system and build a fully custom interior design website experience.

With Showit, we were able to create a more intentional UX that prioritizes large-scale imagery, white space, and visual hierarchy—key elements for showcasing interior design work. This gave Stephanie’s portfolio room to breathe while allowing each project to feel more immersive and editorial.

From a strategy standpoint, we restructured the entire site to improve flow and clarity, making it easier for potential clients to understand the brand, explore services, and move toward inquiry. The navigation, services layout, and page hierarchy were all simplified to support a more intuitive user journey.

Alongside the platform transition, we refined the website copy and reworked the content structure to better communicate the studio’s modern direction. This ensured the new Showit website design not only looked more elevated, but also felt more aligned with the type of interior design work Sponzo Interiors wants to attract moving forward.

The result is a more flexible, visually driven, and strategically structured interior designer website that supports both brand storytelling and long-term growth.

"Before working with Jordin, our website felt like an afterthought. As a small business owner that puts so much time into delivering the best client experience possible, it just didn't feel right for our online branding to feel so lackluster. I wanted something that felt like it matched the caliber of business I was running - a business I'm proud of, and have worked hard to build. Now that the website is complete, I feel so much more confident referred potential clients to view it, and am glad to know that leads who find us organically online will encounter a polished and professional site that reflects the quality of our work."
