These are my very limited “Top 8” projects (a MySpace callback, if you will). I chose these eight for a few different reasons: the quality of the work, the clients themselves, and the range of industries and styles they represent. Most importantly, they’re all projects I’m genuinely proud of.
That said, I’m constantly adding new work to my full portfolio; for SEO purposes, for Pinterest, and tbh just to better show the depth of experience, styles and the kinds of industries I’ve worked in. I have been lucky enough to work with small businesses and people I would actually want in my real life. People I’d be friends with, collaborate with again, or hire myself if things were flipped. It makes a huge difference working with people who feel aligned like that, not just in terms of the project, but in the way they think, care, and show up for their work. It stops feeling like separate “client relationships” and more like building something together with people I naturally respect and enjoy being in orbit with. I treat each project with that same level of care and attention, like it’s something I’m building for myself or someone I’m really close to. Getting to be creative in my job in this way is something I don’t take for granted.
