The Challenge
Designing a therapist website for Anchored Life Therapy meant creating more than a calming online presence. Heather works with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and questions of purpose and direction. Her approach is rooted in seeing the whole person, with systemic, attachment-focused, trauma-informed, and mind-body perspectives.
The challenge was building a Showit website that could communicate that depth without feeling clinical, overwhelming, or overly polished. The site needed to feel warm and reassuring while clearly communicating Heather’s experience, personalized approach, and the different ways she supports her clients.
The goal was to create a thoughtful therapist website design that feels grounded and welcoming while helping prospective clients feel seen, understood, and confident taking the next step toward therapy.
The Results
The custom Showit website for Anchored Life Therapy now reflects the warmth, depth, and thoughtful approach behind Heather’s work. The coastal-inspired design uses soft, natural tones, airy spacing, and subtle textures to create a calm and welcoming experience without feeling overly beachy or generic.
