What a VIP Design Day Intensive Is (and How It Can Transform Your Website in a Single Day)
If you’ve been wanting ongoing maintenance, a focused “tune-up” for your website, or even just a way to hire a Showit designer at an hourly rate without committing to a full project, a VIP Design Day is exactly what this is designed for.
It’s a dedicated block of time where we focus on your design/website tasks, tackling the updates, fixes, and improvements that have been sitting on your to-do list.
In this post, I’ll walk you through what a VIP Design Day actually includes, who it’s best suited for, what we can realistically accomplish in that time, and where it might not be the right fit.
The idea behind calling it a “VIP Day” is simple. You are the only client on my calendar that day. You’re my full focus, and I’m working one-on-one on your website for the entire allotted time.
If you already know you’re looking for a done-for-you intensive, you can explore my VIP Day Intensive here.
What is a VIP Day Intensive, Really?
A VIP Design Day Intensive is a dedicated 4–8 hour block where I work exclusively on your website. During this time, we tackle your highest-priority items—whatever is keeping your website from being truly finished or performing its best.
Most clients come to me with websites that look good visually but aren’t fully functional, optimized, or ready to grow their business. My job during a VIP Day is to clean everything up, fix issues, and get their website in shape so it’s polished, functional, and ready to perform.
No two VIP Days are exactly the same. Each is tailored to your site, your goals, and your priorities.

VIP Design Day vs Custom Website Design
One of the biggest questions clients have is whether they need a VIP Day or a full custom website.
A VIP Design Day is best suited for refining, improving, or completing an existing website. It’s designed for focused, high-impact work within a short timeframe.
A custom website project, on the other hand, is a more in-depth process. It involves building your brand and website from the ground up, with a longer timeline and more strategic development.
If your site already exists and just needs expert refinement, a VIP Day is often the most efficient option. If you’re starting from scratch or need a complete overhaul, a custom project is usually the better fit.

Who Should Book a VIP Day?
VIP Days are perfect for anyone with a Showit website who wants expert-level help without investing weeks or months doing it themselves. Typical clients include:
Anyone with a list of website tasks who wants them handled efficiently
-Therapists, coaches, and creatives who need their websites polished and functional
-Clients who need a blog integrated and optimized
-Website owners who have existing sites they designed themselves or had built elsewhere but need cleanup or updates

It’s perfect if you have:
- A clear list of website tweaks, updates, or changes
- A page or two you want redesigned
- Small but high-impact tasks that are stacking up
You get my undivided attention and years of design experience, all in one productive day.

What Projects Fit a VIP Day?
Some of the most common VIP Day projects include:
- SEO cleanup: Optimizing headers, images, alt text, metadata, internal links, and structure
- Blog integration or setup for Showit
- Site formatting and layout adjustments
- Copy cleanup and on-page edits
- Technical setup: Google Search Console, sitemap, redirects
- Image optimization and compression
Half day vs. full day:
- Half day (4 hours) → smaller projects or partial cleanups
- Full day (8 hours) → larger projects like full blog integration or major SEO cleanup
- Bundled days → discounted rates for multiple VIP Days scheduled together
What doesn’t fit:
Template customizations beyond minor tweaks
Full website builds
Full branding or logo design
How the VIP Day Process Works
Here’s what clients can expect from start to finish:
Inquiry & Discovery
You reach out via email or call, and we chat about what’s most important for your site. Often, I do a light audit to see what’s happening under the hood.
Custom Proposal
I send an email explaining exactly what I would do for your project, the estimated time (half or full day), and pricing. I include any available price breaks for full days or multiple-day bundles.
Prep Week
About a week before your VIP Day, I gather contributor access, brand files, and any prep materials needed.
VIP Day
I work exclusively on your site for 4–8 hours. Most of the time, you don’t need to be present. Occasionally, a quick verification code or login may be needed, and I always communicate ahead of time if that’s the case.
Wrap-Up & Walkthrough
After the day, I send a detailed email recap, walkthrough videos if necessary, and resources so you know exactly what was done and how to move forward.
Follow-Up Support
I’m always available after the day to answer questions or assist with small tweaks. If I underestimate the work required, I finish everything at no extra cost. If I overestimate, I reimburse the difference (though it’s never happened yet!).
Why Clients Love the VIP Day Format
It’s fast, specific, and personal. You don’t have to learn how to do SEO, fix formatting issues, or struggle through technical setup — I handle it for you.
Benefits include:
- Launching a blog or optimizing your site quickly
- Fixing broken or unoptimized areas of your website
- Polishing copy and design elements
- Saving time while getting professional results
- Avoiding the stress of DIY fixes
- Having a custom plan that targets exactly what you need

Chiropractor – Blog Integration
Meggie had a pre-existing Showit website designed by someone else and needed a blog added to support her marketing efforts. During the VIP Day, we seamlessly integrated and built out her blog, matching the tone and design of her existing site. By the end of the session, she had a fully functional blog aligned with her brand, ready to engage clients and grow her online presence.

Wedding Photographer – Site Optimization & Portfolio Setup
Stevie had an existing Showit website with zero SEO settings and an incomplete portfolio. During multiple VIP Days, we cleaned up her site foundations, optimized all images, and built a new portfolio section within her blog. The result was a polished, optimized, and SEO-friendly site that allows her to confidently showcase her work and attract more clients.
Testimonials from past Clients:
Here’s what past VIP Day clients have to say:
“I’m in the midst of working with Jordin and can already tell she is going to exceed my expectations. She is knowledgeable, organized, thorough, and perhaps most importantly, patient. I feel confident that what she has done already for my site is going to take me far and I can’t wait to see what else she has in store for my business. BOOK HER. DON’T QUESTION IT..” — Dania, Wedding Content Creator
“The VIP day was everything I needed and honestly so grateful it was an option! As a previous client, Jordin had rebuilt my website (it is STUNNING), so I trust her 100% with executing the vision and logistics for the smaller project I need help with. Couldn’t recommend her more and I know I will be having her help me continue to grow my website as long as she lets me :)” — Zoe, Nutritionist

Thinking About Booking a VIP Design Day?
If you’re looking for a focused, efficient way to improve your website without committing to a full redesign, a VIP Design Day can be a powerful option.
You can explore the full details, availability, and what’s included here.
Is a VIP Design Day Right for You?
If your site feels stuck, unfinished, or invisible to Google—but you don’t need a full redesign—a VIP Design Day Intensive might be the perfect solution. You’ll walk away with a polished, optimized, and fully functional website that’s ready to perform, plus all the confidence that comes from knowing it was done correctly by an expert.
When a VIP Design Day Is NOT the Right Fit
A VIP Design Day isn’t meant for every situation.
If you need a full website built from scratch, a complete rebrand, or large-scale development work, a more comprehensive project will give you better results.
This format works best when you already have a foundation in place and need expert support to refine, optimize, or complete it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you build a full site in one day?
No. A full custom website usually takes more time, but we can design a new page or refresh your current layout during the intensive.
Do I need my copy ready?
Yes! Having final content allows me to design efficiently and with intention.
What kinds of tasks can you do?
Home page refreshes, sales page builds, blog integrations, template edits, SEO cleanups, mobile optimization, and more.
How do I prepare for the day?
After booking, you’ll get a simple checklist to gather what I need—brand photos, copy, and logins—plus a questionnaire to outline your goals. The more prepared you are, the more we can accomplish.
What happens if we don’t finish everything?
We’ll start with the top priorities. You’ll receive a detailed wrap-up outlining what was completed, what’s left, and next-step recommendations. You can always book an additional session if needed. I am pretty good at estimating the right scope or work/amount of time.
Can I book multiple days?
Absolutely. Some clients book back-to-back days or schedule follow-ups later for new offers, seasonal updates, or additional projects. You will receive $50 off if you are a repeat client.
Do I need to be available all day?
Not constantly. I’ll check in a few times for quick feedback to keep things moving. Timely responses help us stay on track and get the best results.
Is this the right option for me?
Let’s chat! I offer a no-obligation discovery call to review your goals and needs, then help you decide if a VIP Day Intensive is the best fit.
