Functional Nutrition Website Design for Monique Vuong RDN
The Scope: Custom Showit Web Design
The Vibes: Warm, professional, approachable
The Industry: Nutrition & Wellness
Katia came to me ready to move on from a WordPress website that felt clunky, outdated, and difficult to manage. She wanted a website that better reflected her approach to nutrition while making it easier for potential clients to understand her services and take the next step.
The result is a custom Showit website that gives Katia a professional online home while keeping her approach to wellness feeling personal, approachable, and realistic.

The Challenge
Katia is a registered dietitian and board-certified health and wellness coach who helps clients build sustainable habits without restrictive dieting. Her approach is centered around personalized support and helping people create healthier lifestyles that actually fit into their everyday lives.
Her old WordPress website wasn’t communicating that experience very well. It felt difficult to update, and visitors weren’t getting a clear picture of what Katia offered or how they could work with her.
She needed a site that could speak to a variety of clients, from people managing conditions like PCOS and high cholesterol to those looking for support with weight management, digestive health, women’s health, or general wellness.
The goal was to make all of that information feel organized and approachable rather than overwhelming.

Creating a Virtual Nutritionist Website That Feels Human
For the virtual nutritionist website design, I wanted the experience to feel calm, welcoming, and easy to navigate.
The design uses soft colors, clean typography, and a simple structure to create a professional foundation without making the site feel clinical. Friendly photography and approachable messaging help communicate Katia’s personality and her emphasis on sustainable, realistic wellness.
Each page was structured around the questions potential clients are likely to have: What does Katia help with? Which services are right for me? What can I expect? And how do I get started?
That clarity was especially important for a practice serving clients virtually. Katia’s current practice offers virtual services to clients in Michigan and Florida, making her website an important part of how potential clients learn about her approach before ever getting on a call.
A Website Built for Growth
I built Katia’s new site in Showit so she could have more control over her website without worrying about accidentally breaking something every time she needed to make an update.
The structure also gives her room to grow. New services, educational content, blog posts, and client resources can be added without having to completely rethink the site.
Behind the scenes, I also incorporated foundational SEO and structured the pages around the services and topics potential clients are searching for.
The finished virtual nutritionist website design gives Katia a much stronger foundation for her growing practice while keeping the experience warm, clear, and personal.
A Website That Made the Process Feel Easier
One of the most important parts of this project was making the website process feel manageable for Katia.
Rather than expecting her to make every design decision from scratch, I guided her through the process and helped translate her vision into a cohesive website. That allowed us to focus on the pieces that mattered most while keeping the overall project organized.

Functional Nutrition Website Design FAQ
What should a functional nutrition website include?
A functional nutrition website should clearly explain who you help, what you specialize in, what your approach looks like, and what potential clients can expect. It should also make complex health information easy to navigate and understand.
How can a nutritionist make their website feel credible without overwhelming visitors?
Strong organization is just as important as the information itself. Your website can demonstrate your expertise while prioritizing the questions potential clients actually have, using clear navigation, intentional content hierarchy, and straightforward messaging.
Can SEO be built into a nutrition website?
Absolutely. SEO can be incorporated into the website structure, page content, headings, metadata, internal linking, and schema markup so that your site is easier for both potential clients and search engines to understand.
