Showit Template Customization for The Balance Reset
The Scope: Showit Template Customization
The Vibes: Grounded, intentional, trust-building
The Industry: Coaching + Personal Development
When Danna Campbell came to me with The Balance Reset, she already had a clear vision for the kind of business she wanted to build. Her focus was helping high-performing women move through burnout, mental overload, and the pressure to constantly do more, with a structured approach that made sustainable balance feel possible rather than overwhelming.
She also already had a Showit template to work from, which gave us a strong visual starting point, but the real project was about much more than swapping in new colors, photos, and copy. Through this burnout coach website template customization, I helped turn an existing template into a website that actually reflected The Balance Reset, its audience, and the thoughtful methodology behind the business.

Turning a Template Into The Balance Reset
One of the biggest advantages of starting with a Showit template is that you don’t have to begin with a completely blank screen, but that doesn’t mean the finished website should still feel like the template you purchased. Danna had initially tried to customize her template herself, and as the business started taking shape, it became increasingly difficult to figure out how all of the pieces should fit together.
The Balance Reset had a lot of potential directions ahead of it, including a podcast, digital courses, coaching programs, and a future intensive, so the website needed to create a strong foundation without trying to cram everything into the site at once.
For this project, I focused heavily on simplifying the experience and creating a clear hierarchy for the information that mattered most right now. Instead of making visitors sort through everything Danna could eventually offer, the site needed to quickly communicate who she helps, what burnout recovery can look like, and how someone could take the next step.
That strategic work is a big part of what makes template customization different from simply changing the fonts and colors. The template provides a framework, but I still need to look at the content, business goals, user experience, and brand direction as a whole so the final website feels intentional rather than like someone else’s template with new information dropped into it.
Creating a Website That Feels Calmer, Not More Complicated
Because Danna’s entire business centers around helping women who are already experiencing mental overload and burnout, it was especially important that the website itself didn’t contribute to that feeling.
I worked through the structure, messaging hierarchy, page layouts, calls to action, and visual details with that in mind, keeping the overall experience grounded and easy to move through while still giving the brand enough personality to feel established and trustworthy. The goal wasn’t to fill every section of the template simply because the space was there. It was to make thoughtful decisions about what belonged, what could wait, and how each piece of information should lead naturally into the next.
That also meant thinking beyond the current website. The Balance Reset is a growing business, so I wanted the customized template to give Danna room to expand without needing to completely rethink the website every time she adds something new.
The end result is a Showit website that feels much more like The Balance Reset than the original template ever could have, while still taking advantage of the time-saving foundation a template provides. It gives Danna a polished, strategic starting point for her business without sacrificing the clarity and personality that make the brand her own.
Your Template Should Still Feel Like Your Business
Starting with a template doesn’t mean your website has to look like everyone else’s. The right customization can take an existing framework and turn it into a website that feels thoughtful, strategic, and completely connected to your business.
If you’re a coach, consultant, or service provider who already has a Showit template but needs help turning it into a website that actually feels like you, my Showit template customization service can help you get there without starting from a blank canvas.

What Danna Had to Say
“I reached out to several web designers with Showit/Tonic experience. Jordin’s professional approach combined with approach, timing, price and her portfolio is what sold me on Unica Formo. I have limited time due to a full-time job while I am trying to get this business started and Jordin’s approach is so organized. She provided me tasks with deadlines, ongoing short instructional videos and she met her proposed deadline. She was available for any and all questions I had and I recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone who needs a beautiful website built for their business.”

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Showit template customization?
Showit template customization starts with an existing Showit template and transforms it into a website that fits your business, brand, content, and goals. Rather than simply changing colors and images, I can help rethink the layout, messaging hierarchy, navigation, user experience, and visual direction so the finished site feels much more custom.
Is template customization different from a fully custom Showit website?
Yes. With a fully custom website, I create the structure and design from the ground up around your business. Template customization starts with an existing framework, which can make the process more streamlined while still allowing for significant changes to the design, layout, content structure, and overall experience.
Can a Showit template actually feel custom?
Absolutely. A template is a starting point, not a requirement to keep the same design. With thoughtful customization, the fonts, colors, layouts, imagery, sections, navigation, and overall structure can be adapted so the final website feels like your brand rather than a template that happens to contain your content.
Is template customization a good option for a newer business?
It can be a great option if you want a professional, strategic website without investing in a completely custom build from the beginning. The key is making sure the template is a good foundation for your business and that the customization goes beyond the surface-level details.
