Virtual Therapist Branding and Website Design
Virtual therapist branding and website design was the focus of this project for Erin Carpenter Psychological Services, creating her first professional brand and online presence from the ground up.
Erin was starting a new practice, which meant there was no existing website, visual identity, or established online presence to work from. We had the opportunity to build everything intentionally around the kind of therapist Erin wanted to be and the experience she wanted potential clients to have.
The Scope: Custom Showit Web Design & Branding
The Vibes: Clean. Calming. Authentic. Trustworthy.
The Industry: Virtual Therapy

Starting From Scratch
For Erin, this wasn’t just a website redesign. It was the first time her practice was establishing itself online.
She needed a brand identity that felt professional and credible while still feeling personal and approachable. She also needed a website that could introduce potential clients to her practice and give them a sense of what working with her might feel like before they ever reached out.
For a virtual therapist, that first impression carries even more weight.
Without a physical office to walk into, the website becomes one of the first places a potential client experiences the practice. It needs to create a sense of trust while still feeling human.
That became the foundation for the project.

Building the Brand First
I started by establishing the brand identity around three ideas that were important to Erin: authenticity, support, and trust.
Those ideas guided everything from the color palette and typography to the overall feeling of the website.
The visual identity uses soft neutrals, understated typography, and plenty of white space to create something calm and professional without feeling clinical.
I wanted the design to feel steady rather than overly polished or formal.
For a therapist, especially one working virtually, that distinction matters. The brand needed to communicate expertise while still giving potential clients a reason to feel comfortable enough to keep exploring.
Virtual Therapist Branding and Website Design
Once the brand identity was established, I carried it into the custom Showit website.
The site was structured around clarity and connection rather than trying to overwhelm visitors with information. The navigation makes it easy to understand Erin’s services, learn more about her approach, and figure out what to do next.
Every part of the virtual therapist branding and website design was created to feel cohesive, from the visual identity to the page layouts and messaging.
Accessibility and ease of navigation were also important considerations. When someone is already feeling uncertain about reaching out for therapy, they shouldn’t have to fight their way through a complicated website to find the information they need.
A First Website Built to Grow With Erin
Because this was Erin’s first professional website, I didn’t want to create something that only worked for where her practice was on launch day. The custom Showit site gives her room to expand as her practice grows, while the brand creates a cohesive foundation she can continue building from.
The finished virtual therapist branding and website design gives Erin something she didn’t have before: a professional online presence that feels like a true extension of her practice.
It’s professional without being cold, calming without being bland, and structured without feeling rigid. Most importantly, it gives potential clients a chance to get a sense of Erin before making the vulnerable decision to reach out.
This project was about creating that first point of connection while giving Erin a strong foundation to grow from.

What Erin Had to Say
“This was my first professional website for my therapy practice, and I came in feeling both excited and a little intimidated about how to create an online presence that truly represented me. Working with Jordin was such a relief — she was personable, fun, and so easy to work with, and from the very beginning, I felt like she genuinely understood my goals and what I wanted to communicate. The whole process felt collaborative and supportive, like working with someone who truly cared about what I wanted to create. She guided me thoughtfully through every step, kept us on track without ever making me feel rushed, and brought creativity, insight, and care to each part of the design. I was able to explore ideas and make decisions at my own pace, which made the process feel both empowering and enjoyable. The final result is a website that feels like an authentic reflection of me and my practice, and I’m incredibly excited to see how it helps me connect with the right clients and grow my business. I would absolutely recommend Jordin to anyone looking for a designer who is approachable, organized, and genuinely invested in bringing your ideas to life.”

Virtual Therapist Branding and Website Design FAQ
Do you work with therapists who are starting a new practice?
Absolutely. Starting from scratch can actually be a great opportunity because we can build the brand and website around your practice from the beginning instead of trying to work around an outdated online presence.
What should a virtual therapist’s website communicate?
Your website should give potential clients a clear understanding of who you work with, what you offer, and what your approach is like. It should also create enough trust and connection that someone feels comfortable taking the next step.
Can my website grow with my practice?
Yes. I build custom Showit websites with future growth in mind, so you can add services, pages, and content as your practice evolves.
