When someone is looking for a life coach, your website is often where they get their first real sense of who you are and how you work. It needs to communicate your approach clearly while still feeling personal, welcoming, and true to the experience you want to create for your clients.

That was especially important for Sujata of HappySelf Coaching, who was transitioning from a successful career in therapy into a coaching practice centered around self-awareness, emotional well-being, self-trust, and happiness.

For this life coach website design, I created a custom Showit site that would help Sujata clearly communicate that shift while giving HappySelf its own visual identity and point of view.

The Challenge: Moving From Therapy to Coaching

Sujata had extensive experience helping people through her work in therapy, but HappySelf represented a shift in how she wanted to support clients.

Rather than focusing on diagnoses, problems, or fixing what feels wrong, her coaching approach centers around the idea that happiness and self-trust are already within us. Her work helps clients reconnect with themselves through reflection, compassionate support, and guided coaching.

The website needed to make that distinction clear without overexplaining it.

It also needed to introduce Sujata to a global audience while balancing her professional experience with the warm, personal feeling she wanted HappySelf to have.

Creating a Life Coach Landing Page With a Clear Point of View

Rather than building a large multi-page website, Sujata needed a focused landing page that could introduce HappySelf and give potential clients everything they needed to understand the practice and take the next step.

That meant every section needed a purpose.

I structured the page to introduce Sujata’s philosophy, explain her coaching approach, highlight her offerings, share more about her background, and ultimately guide visitors toward getting in touch.

For the visual direction, I wanted the page to feel noticeably different from a traditional therapy or coaching website. The design was inspired by sunlight, warmth, and optimism, with vibrant colors, spacious layouts, and subtle movement creating an experience that feels uplifting without becoming overly polished or corporate.

The messaging was just as important as the visuals. HappySelf isn’t about fixing what’s wrong with you. Sujata’s philosophy is that happiness and self-trust are things we can reconnect with.

I wanted that idea to come through throughout the landing page, from the bright visual direction to the conversational messaging and spacious layout.

The finished life coach website design reflects Sujata’s professional experience while still feeling approachable and personal. It doesn’t look like a traditional therapy website, and it doesn’t rely on the same generic coaching language you’ll find everywhere else.

Instead, it gives HappySelf its own point of view and creates a clear introduction to the way Sujata works.

A Landing Page Designed to Do a Lot Without Feeling Like Too Much

A one-page website can still be strategic.

For HappySelf, the goal wasn’t to give visitors endless pages to click through. It was to create one thoughtful experience that answered the questions a potential client is likely to have and naturally led them toward the next step.

The finished landing page gives Sujata a professional home for HappySelf while keeping the experience simple, focused, and easy to navigate.

It’s a good example of why you don’t always need a massive website. Sometimes a well-planned landing page is exactly what a business needs.
